Meet other Parents for a Coffee

We hold regular Coffee Mornings throughout North East Essex. Pop along and have a chat with other Parents and our specialists....

The MAZE is aimed at parents of children who have (or have sought) a diagnosis for an additional need. The course is structured over 12 weeks.

There are also sessions delivered by supporting professionals, such as a Community Nurse Practitioner, Specialist Autism teacher,  Social Stories Trainer, Mental Health Practitioner, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, Play Therapist and also by experienced parents.

Additionally, there is support and involvement by other local agencies such as IPSEA, EWMHS, Essex Steps and Families In Focus. A key strength of the programme is the multi-agency delivery and ongoing support for parents.

On completion of the course and the evaluation of it, parents report a marked improvement in their relationship with their child and 100% of participants expressed an improvement in their ability to cope with their child. Furthermore, 90% of parents rate the parenting programme very highly in meeting their needs and expectations.

There are MAZE Groups running each term. If you are interested in the course, please email us at: referrals@themazegroup.co.uk

To book a place on the course, please download the referral form above and email it back to the MAZE or post to:
